
Ben Rhodes is a student at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Political Science and International Studies. His academic interests focus on global governance, migration, and border policy. Currently, he is conducting research on border expansion at Hopkins, exploring its implications on international relations and human rights. Ben has also worked with Church World Service (CWS), a refugee resettlement organization, where he supported efforts to assist displaced communities. Through both research and hands-on experience, he aims to contribute to more humane and effective migration policies.

Olivia is an undergraduate at Villanova University majoring in Political Science and French. She is passionate about immigration and reform and hopes to attend law school to continue exploring the intersections of policy, justice, and society. On campus, Olivia is an active member of Alpha Chi Omega and sings with the Supernovas, Villanova’s competitive a cappella group, where she serves as Assistant Music Director. She enjoys engaging in opportunities that connect her interests in language, leadership, and public service.

Grace Gerber is a student at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Political Science and Psychology. Her academic interests focus on political behavior, political psychology, global conflict, the psychology behind decision-making, and US politics. Currently, she is a research assistant in two labs at Hopkins; in one lab she is exploring political behavior surrounding US elections, and, in her other lab, she is conducting psychology research, including the psychology behind global conflicts. Grace has worked with several charities throughout her life, and has gained valuable insight and skills through her leadership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society; toy drive startup for cancer patients and their families; and time volunteering with various emergency food pantries, women and children’s shelters, and educational programs and tutoring organization. Moreover, Grace has held several jobs—from starting her own tutoring/college counseling business, to working at a law firm, to nannying, and more—all of which have improved her analytical skills, collaboration, and communication. Bringing forward her research and hands-on experience, Grace aims to contribute to educating and bettering the life of others.

Greta Savo is a student at Villanova University majoring in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies and Business. She is deeply committed to community engagement and educational equity. At Villanova, Greta has served as a group leader for the university's Day of Service and volunteers with the Ray of Sunshine Club, tutoring elementary school students in underfunded Philadelphia school districts. She is also an active volunteer with Special Olympics Pennsylvania, supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career in law dedicated to advocacy and social impact.

Jasmine Huang is an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, triple majoring in Public Health, Moral and Political Economy, and Political Science. Driven by a commitment to help underserved communities, she is passionate about advancing NSI’s mission to support refugees and first-generation students. She has worked for multiple elected officials, wrote a bill now enacted as Virginia law, and founded a chapter of the nonprofit PERIOD. to fight period poverty. Currently a researcher at VectorCam, supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Jasmine aspires to build a career at the intersection of health equity, policy, and social justice.
